Paradigm to Showcase its Geological Interpretation & Modeling Solutions

Paradigm will present next-generation exploration and development technologies on the Microsoft Windows platform at the 2012 American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Annual Convention and Exhibition in Long Beach, California, April 22-25. Conference attendees are invited to join Paradigm at booth #1018 for live technical demonstrations covering Geological and Geophysical Interpretation on Windows, Formation Evaluation and Geologic Modeling. Additionally, Paradigm specialists will demonstrate the value of the company’s interpretation, reservoir characterization, and geosteering solutions in optimizing workflows in shale resource plays.

“With the releases of Paradigm 2011 and Paradigm 2011.1, our complete offering of geophysical and geological interpretation products are available on Windows and Linux platforms,” said Duane Dopkin, executive vice president of Technology for Paradigm. “We look forward to showing the versatility of these platform-neutral solutions at the AAPG, together with their ability to solve complex issues related to both conventional and unconventional plays.”

Paradigm is again proud to be a Gold Level sponsor of the 2012 American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) Imperial Barrel Award Program (IBA). The AAPG IBA program is a scholarship program aimed at supporting geoscience students. Paradigm will provide participating universities with licenses, training and support of Paradigm software. This will empower students with the tools they need to complete a technical assessment of field hydrocarbon potential, from seismic interpretation, geological modeling and petrophysics to reservoir engineering and risk assessment.

AAPG attendees can attend live software demonstrations each day, starting at 9:00 AM. One-on-one demonstrations by technical experts featuring the company’s latest technology offerings and its potential applications are available upon request. Advanced registration is required for the Lunch & Learn presentations held on the first two days of the convention.
