Century Energy Ltd announces that effective June 1, 2012, Mr. Brian J. McBeath has resigned as President/CEO of Century to retire from full time work in the oil exploration industry. He will however remain as a director, supervising the development of Century's Vawn Heavy Oil Project.
Mr. Jimmy McCarroll was appointed as interim President/CEO of Century, and he commented "Century is extremely grateful to Brian for his hard work, and success in developing Century's energy assets."
Mr. McCarroll further advised that several technical reports have been posted on the Century's web site (www.centuryenergyltd.com) including a NI 43-101 report dated June 12, 2009 on the St. Anthony Gold property that Century recently signed a Letter of Intent to acquire (news release dated May 30, 2012).
