Agreements on Halegan & Sephid Fields Development to Be Signed

Agreements on the development of two gas fields Halegan and Sephid Baghun will be signed between ICOFC and Khatam ol-Anbia headquarters.

"It is estimated that the amount of in-situ gas at Halegan and Sephid Baghun gas fields stands at 4,63 and 2,37 trillion cubic feet, respectively", Mehdi Fakour was quoted by ICOFC public Relations as saying.

He said the recovery rate at Halegan and Sephid Baghun stands at 64.4 and 52.5 percent respectively and initial storage of the two fields will be over 4 trillion cubic feet as well.

Fakour referred to Halegan and Sephid Baghun as high pressure fields and added some 17 million cubic meters of gas production has been planned of which 12.5 mcm will be produced from Halegan field and 4.5 mcm from Sephid Baghun.
