According to SHANA’s correspondent, the installation of the jacket was carried out within two weeks and the second drilling derrick, designated for drilling 5 wells, is scheduled to be transferred to SP-19 in South Pars Common Gas Field in near future.
C-19 Derrick is currently deployed in SP-19 site offshore, on which the drilling rig, for drilling 5 wells, has been placed.
Drilling of 15 wells is anticipated in the South Pars Phase 19 Development Project. The number of the wells of this project will reach 21, taking into account the allocation of second part of phase 1 platform in vicinity of this phase.
The report mentions that the utilities (including water, electricity and steam facilities) as well as the processing units of this South Pars’ phase are the first units that have to come on stream before operating one of the platforms and the utilities of this phase, according to the schedule, will be pre-commissioned by the end of present Iranian calendar year 1391 (max. March 20, 2013) and operated by next Iranian year (2013).
The development of this part of the field in South Pars gas common layer is assigned to a consortium consisting of Petropars and Iranian Offshore Engineering and Construction Company (IOEC).
South Pars Phase 19 Development Project is currently underway with the goal of producing 50 million cubic meters per day of sweet gas, 75,000 barrels of gas condensates, 400 tons of sulfur and an annual production of 1,05 million tons of liquefied gas and a million ton of ethane.
