Iranian minister of petroleum, Rostam Qasemi, says Enhancing Recovery Consortium (ERC), should be fully operational up to the end of Shahrivar (21 September).
Speaking at the first meeting of Enhancing Recovery Consortium’s board of trustees, Qasemi said that members of the consortium should deploy all their actual and potential capabilities to implement applicable research plans in oil fields.
The meeting ratified formation of a permanent commission, organizational chart and procedural matters as well as several research plans presented by Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, National Iranian Southern Oil Company and Petroleum Engineering And Development Company.
The consortium will examine presented plans and then will propose them to NIOC for making a final decision on their implementation.
The meeting was held on Monday in the presence of deputy minister of science, research and technology, representatives of Tehran, Sharif, Amir Kabir, Sahand, Shiraz and Oil Industry Universities as the members of consortium and managing director of National Iranian Oil Company.
