The Z Gard Series of Controllers has been granted certification for use in the U.S. and Canada. These products were evaluated by CSA and found to be in compliance with UL 916 and CSA Std C22.2 (fire and shock).
Economical Z Gard C Controllers can accept 4 to 20 mA or RS-485 inputs from Z Gard S Sensors. Controllers are available that can accept inputs from 1 to 8 remote sensors.
Z Gard C 485 Controllers are economical gas monitoring systems designed to solve a variety of alarm and control applications. The Z Gard C 485 Controller can interface with a wide array of remote MSA Z Gard S Sensors over an RS 485 network. Models are available which can accept inputs from up to 8, 16, or 24 MSA Z Gard S Sensors.
The Z Gard CX Controller is designed to interface with remote Z Gard Sensors. The monitor provides programmable operating parameters, which are organized by a menu interface keypad. Up to 40 remote gas sensors are connected via RS-485 serial communication ports managed by the Z Gard CX Controller network.
