A contract, for the allocation of the construction of the first factory for Ruherpumpen / Egypt company in the governorate of Suez, was inked, with the participation of the Petroleum Sector's companies (Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation, Enppi, Petrojet, El Nasr Petroleum Company) with a share of 33% and the German company Ruherpumpen with a share of 67%. The factory is regarded as the 1st of its kind in the Middle East to produce such types of pumps which are needed in the domains of oil and gas industry in light of the significant progress it witnesses.
Currently, Enppi and Petrojet are executing the designing works and the factory's implementation.
The company's capital is about 20 million Euros. It's activities include manufacturing and maintaining all kinds of pumps used in Egypt, which is more than 6 thousand pumps as well as availing the required spare parts.
The factory will be established on three phases, the first ends in May 2007 that it will produce the first pump for Gasco company by the end of next August.
After its three phases completion, the factory's production capacity will reach 400 pumps annually. A huge part of the production will be exported to the Middle East countries and Africa.
The factory will encompass about 150 direct job opportunities and about 500 indirect ones.
