Oil Discovery in The Exploration Well 6R1-59

NOC announced that Waha Oil Company reports that it has drilled the 6R1-59 Exploration Well to a total depth of 11,400 feet.

The well is located in Sirt Basin approximately 70 km Southeast of Gialo Area. The well is tested with a flow rate of 1.378 mmcf/d of gas and 1,334 bbls/d of oil at 48/64 choke, the API is 41 in Lidam formation. A flow rate of 0.541 mmcf/d of gas and 577 bbls/d of oil at 16/64 choke, the API is 42 in Nubian formation.
