Iran’s Underground Gas Storage Company (UGSC) a subsidiary of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) signed a contract with a German company on storing gas at Yourtshai gas storage facilities near Varamin south of Tehran.
The contract was signed at the 16th Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemical Exhibition that is being held at the permanent international fairgrounds in Tehran.
The Iran’s Underground Gas Storage Company (UGSC) signed the contract with a consortium consisting of German and Iranian companies.
Based on the contract the German company and UGSC work together on storing know-how in the facility.
Yourtashai storage facility is one of the underground gas facilities of Iran with the natural gas storage capacity up to 500 million cubic meters.
