A new model of solid steel cord tires Kama NR 202 size 295/80 R 22,5 has been mastered at "Nizhnekamsk SSC Tire Factory", which is part of TATNEFT tire manufacturing complex. The first batch of tires will be 1800 pieces. The tires of KAMA series N with index 202 are designed to run on asphalt, rough terrain or dirt roads at any time of the year at temperatures from -45°C to +55°C.
The abbreviation NR means application of tires for mounting on the rear axle of trucks and buses.
The innovative solid-steel cord tire NR 202 is manufactured with application of modern equipment using high quality raw materials in accordance with international standards. At all stages of manufacturing starting with fabrication of tire parts and components to finished products are subject to thorough quality control.
The original tread pattern with extended grooves and formulations rubber compounds contribute to the effective self-cleaning of snow, road stones, melt water and mud.
Inclusion of new silica modifiers and the improved grade of carbon black into the rubber mixture has resulted in significant increase of the tire elasticity, improved road-holding capacity and reduced the braking distance. In addition the new model provides for a lower noise level.
The main advantage of the Kama SSC tires is a solid steel frame, which significantly reduces tires' treading out during operation and thus providing for a large potential resource. The Kama SSC tires are adaptable for tread recapping that extends the tire life up to 500 thousand kilometers.
