Field Survival Training Activities Conducted in ZPEB Kazakhstan

Recently, ZPEB Kazakhstan subsidiary organized the staff of its functional departments carrying out the activities of field survival training on the victory day of World War II. The training was aimed at promoting the Chinese staff to challenge themselves, arouse their potentials, sharpen their wills, and improve their skills for survival in the wild field and their ability to respond to emergencies.

The training activities included such games as emergency escape, orienteering and expedition, seining for fish, setting pot for camping and education on environment protection. Prior to the activities, Huang Xincheng, superintendent of overseas project in charge of safety management spoke to the staff participated in the training about the rules and safety precautions for all the activities. During the one-day training activity, the staff from all teams learned some basic knowledge on field survival and skills of saving themselves in case of emergency situation, mastered basic skills of setting cooking pot for camping, identifying potherbs, positioning the location and identifying directions with GPS and other facilities. Through these training activities, the staff have improved their psychological quality, enhanced collectivism spirit, and achieved the goal for further improving their ability of cooperation and coordination and enhancing their sense of team work and sense of mutual aid.
