22nd gas, oil, refining and petrochemical international fair opened at Tehran international fairground this morning. According to the public relations department, the opening ceremony was held with the presence of Ali Larijani, Iranian parliament speaker, and Bijan Zanganeh, petroleum minister.
Pointing to implementation of 11 phases in three and half years, petroleum minister said that extraction capacity of south pars field has doubled during this period.
Bijan Zanganeh pointed out to extraction amount of 285 million cubic meters of shared field on March 2014, he added “this amount has increased to 575 million cubic meters on March 2017”.
Petroleum minister stated that the share of liquid fuel in power sector has been reduced from 42 percent in 2014 to a little more than 10 percent in the early 2017.
This fair began this morning (May 6) with the participation of 4000 local and foreign companies at Tehran international permanent fairground and it will be finished on Tuesday evening(May 9).
