Lion Energy Announces Strategic Review of Assets

Lion Energy, an ASX listed oil & gas exploration & production company focused on Indonesia, has advised it is undertaking a strategic review of its oil and gas assets.

The board of directors is undertaking a strategic review of the Company’s assets, with a view to rationalising any non-core assets and focussing on a production orientated portfolio of projects. The results of this work are expected in early March, 2018. In addition, the Company continues to review production opportunities in the region with a view to bolstering the company’s oil production in the medium-term.

Lion is an Indonesian focused oil and gas exploration & production company. It has two conventional PSC’s, the producing Seram PSC and exciting South Block A PSC containing the Amanah Timur discovery, rights to an large highly prospective conventional area in Eastern Indonesia and is an early mover in the unconventional oil and gas industry.
