Southern Area Pipelines Operations Engineering Division: responsible for all pipelines and associated facilities in remote areas; routinely visit sites to inspect operational, maintenance and design issues; attend process flow decision meetings (HAZOPs); write procedures for activities such as scraping, hydrotesting or removing valves; review project proposals to ensure new installations are performed according to standards.
MAK Tsagaan Suvarga Copper/Molybdenum Project: lead piping and materials engineer for design of 40,000 MT/day grassroots crushing/grinding/ flotation/drying plant on $870M mine in Mongolia; wrote piping and valve specifications for project; reviewed mechanical equipment specifications; facilitated meetings with Client's design engineering firm; made calculations and sketches for slurry tanks; produced technical responses to RFIs from the field; assisted procurement with bid packages and evaluations; assisted 3D model review.
KRGT Mountainview Corridor Project: lead engineer and project manager; coordinated responsibilities of multiple subcontractors on 11 “conflict zones” within the project; managed budgets and approved construction packages; designed pipeline relocation drawing packages; wrote contractor scope of work documents; facilitated onsite pre-bid meetings; made weekly visits to sites, answered questions and approved design changes during construction; and secured over $400,000 in additional work for the client.
