Howard Energy Partners (HEP) announced today that Dr. Kasi McCormick has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness and Integration. As a member of the executive management team, McCormick will lead cross-functional strategic initiatives that support the company’s objectives and long-term goals, advancing collaboration between departments, and enhancing internal change management capabilities and procedures. McCormick brings more than fifteen years of strategic planning and program development experience, having served in several leadership roles for United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County (United Way).

Most recently, McCormick held the position of Vice President, Individual Giving and Major Gifts at United Way, where she led the development and execution of strategies for comprehensive donor relationship management including the achievement of assigned growth, retention, and revenue goals. She led United Way’s major donor program, the Tocqueville Society, and was directly responsible for doubling its membership and increasing major gifts revenue. Through her roles at United Way, McCormick also oversaw the development and implementation of strategic program objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and policies and procedures for leadership teams and volunteers. Additionally, through her direct role in securing state and federal grants, she created system and policy changes on a local and national scale.
In 2023, McCormick was named one of San Antonio Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Honorees. She holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Science degree in sociology from the University of Texas at San Antonio. She also holds a Doctor of Management degree in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix.
