Key Capture Energy, LLC (“KCE”), a leading developer, owner and
operator of battery energy storage systems in the United States announced Joel Vyduna
is joining its growing team as Executive Vice President of Technology and will be a member of
the Company’s Leadership Team. In addition, two members of the KCE team were promoted to
the role of Executive Vice President. Taylor Quarles is now Executive Vice President of
Development and Jim Brown is Executive Vice President of Engineering and Construction.

Joel Vyduna joins KCE from Strata Clean Energy where he worked on project development,
execution, and asset management while leading the battery energy storage activities for the
company. Prior to Strata, Joel led the battery energy storage consulting practice at Luminate
and held various roles within Kiewit’s power division focused on the engineering, procurement
and construction of conventional power projects.

As KCE’s EVP of Development, Taylor Quarles oversees a development pipeline of over
9,000MW across the country. During his nearly six 6 years at KCE, Taylor has grown the
development team to 18 employees developing projects in 17 states. With Jim Brown becoming
KCE’s EVP of Engineering and Construction, he will manage all KCE’s construction activities.
This includes the ongoing construction of KCE TX 10 and KCE TX 15, both of which are 100 MW
projects and will come online later this year. In his five years at KCE Jim has managed the
financing or construction of all 623 MW of KCE’s projects in operations and under construction.
