GR Engineering Services Limited (GR Engineering) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract with LRL (Aust) Pty Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Liontown Resources Limited (Liontown), for the Kathleen Valley Lithium Backfill Project (the Project).
The Kathleen Valley Lithium Project is a globally significant Tier-1 battery metals asset located in a premier mining jurisdiction approximately 60km north of Leinster and 680km north east of Perth, Western Australia.
The contract value is $71 million. The Project scope comprises two paste plants which will produce paste fill for use in Liontown’s underground operations. Engineering, procurement and site works had previously commenced under an early works agreement.
