Sinopec completed the installation of the first wind turbine in the largest wind power project under construction. This project is Sinopec's first 100MW wind power project, located in Zhongyuan Oilfield, and implemented by Xinxing Company. It makes full use of local wind resources, plans to install 112MW wind power, and build and install 15 4.8MW wind turbines, 8 5MW wind turbines, 5 35kV switch stations and supporting energy storage systems.
In order to ensure the successful installation of the first wind turbine, Xinxing Company worked with all parties to solve the difficulties in the project construction, reasonably arrange the construction period, scientifically organize the construction, and make every effort to ensure the safe and orderly progress of the installation task. After the project is put into operation, it can produce about 320 million kWh of green electricity each year. The green electricity generated will be connected to the Zhongyuan Oilfield power grid for local consumption, effectively helping the oilfield to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and accelerate the construction of a multi-energy complementary, coordinated and efficient energy system.
