A Memorandum of Understanding was Signed between SOCAR and VNG

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and the VNG company on the expansion of cooperation in the fields of natural gas and renewable energy sources.

The Memorandum of Understanding signed with VNG, one of Germany's leading energy companies, will contribute to the development of sustainable energy solutions and the promotion of international cooperation.

The document envisages the exchange of experience on the investigation of natural gas supply possibilities and the use of gas infrastructure. According to the memorandum, the parties will also explore opportunities for cooperation on projects involving the transition to renewable energy and decarbonized gases.
