Batumi Sea Port LLC (exclusive rights to manage a 100% share belong to a subsidiary of KazTransOil JSC - Batumi Oil Terminal LLC) became the winner of the Georgian Times media holding (Georgia) «Business Rating XXIII» award in the nomination «Investment attractiveness, high level of security, dynamic growth and development». The company was also recognized as a leader in the «Largest Taxpayer in Georgia» category.
«The Batumi seaport is an important link in the Europe-Caucasus-Asia transport corridor. The dynamic growth of cargo turnover indicates inexhaustible production capabilities and targeted, active work. The port is reaching a new level and continues to develop, since it has the potential to achieve even better results,» said First Vice-Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Gia Volsky at the award ceremony to Ulan Tleugali, General Director of Batumi Sea Port LLC.
As the jury members noted, Batumi Sea Port LLC is investing in upgrading production facilities and introducing modern quality and safety management standards.
KazTransOil JSC directly owns and manages production assets in Georgia through Batumi Oil Terminal LLC.
