Aker BP Receives consent for use of Tyrving

The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has granted Aker BP consent to use the facilities at the Tyrving field.

Tyrving
Tyrving is located in the central North Sea, 20 kilometres east of the Alvheim field. The field consists of two discoveries, Trine and Trell, five kilometres apart. The water depth is 120 metres. The plan for development and operation (PDO) was approved in 2023. The development concept includes two multilateral wells, one in each discovery, tied back to the Alvheim FPSO.

The field is under development, and production is planned to start in 2025.
