Kuwait's Al-Zour Refinery, Constructed by Sinopec, Put into Full Production

Kuwait's Al-Zour Refinery, constructed by Sinopec Engineering Group (SEG),was put into full production in Kuwait in May 29. As the largest refinery in Kuwait and one of the biggest in the Middle East, this project showcases Sinopec’s world-class engineering capabilities and its adherence to global environmental standards. With a refining capacity of 31.5 million tonnes per year, the refinery is expected to boost Kuwait's daily refining capacity by 66%, marking a significant milestone in the country's energy industry.

Al-Zour Refinery has now reached its maximum nameplate capacity, making Kuwait the largest producer of clean fuels in the Middle East.
