The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Gas Affairs, Mr. Izzat Saber Ismail, confirmed that the ministry has made great progress in the field of exporting liquefied gas and condensates. He pointed out that for the first time, three tankers are docked at the same time to load liquefied gas and condensates.
The Undersecretary explained that the ministry has increased the export capacities of liquefied gas and condensates, by launching the second loading platform in Umm Qasr Port in the middle of this month, and Iraq now has three loading platforms, which reduces the days of loading the tanker on the one hand, and on the other hand, it gives high flexibility in two areas: the first is receiving more than one tanker at the same time to load it with exported materials, and the second is in the field of increasing export loading capacities and diversifying them, indicating that the achieved achievement comes as a result of the fruitful and serious cooperation between the South Gas and Basra Gas companies, in the field of gas investment and increasing production rates.
