Northern Offshore Services (N-O-S) announces the order of new E-Class vessels, marking a significant expansion of the fleet. The order continues the successful new-build journey already started, reaffirming N-O-S’s dedication to providing its customers with flexible solutions.

The new vessels will distinguish themselves through a range of innovative features. With updated and improved hull design, the vessels will offer fuel efficiency crucial for reducing environmental impact and enhancing stability. Additionally, the vessels will have significantly improved crew and technician comfort, and feature a large cargo capacity, making the vessel class-ready to meet the future needs of offshore wind.

Future-proof Platform
The new E-Class vessels are built on a future-proof platform designed for efficiency and performance, with a flexible engine configuration intended to use only the power that the current situation requires. The vessels are hybrid and prepared to use both alternative fuels and fully electric modes. The future-proof platform enables a significant reduction in the carbon footprint of our operations. The order of the E-Class vessels demonstrates N-O-S’s strong commitment to leading the way and setting future standards.

The vessels will be delivered and ready to operate during the second half of 2025.

“We are proud to continue our journey towards a deepened sustainability and innovation focus by expanding our fleet with new E-Class vessels.
