Ministry of Oil Oil Pipelines Company Completes Work to Remove Encroachment on Dry Gas Pipeline

As part of the efforts of the Oil Pipelines Company to protect the oil pipeline network, the company's staff completed the work of removing the encroachment on the 16-knot dry gas pipeline (Ahdab - Zubaydiyah).

The company's general manager, Mr. Ali Abdul Karim Al-Moussawi, said that the technical and engineering staff in the company were able to complete the work of removing the encroachment on the pipeline, and carry out treatment and maintenance operations on it in record time, to resume pumping operations at their normal rates.

Al-Moussawi added that the company's specialized teams were able, through their inspection tours, to control the encroachment on the pipeline located near the "Awina River" within the administrative borders of Wasit Governorate.

The general manager indicated that the company's technical teams are intensifying their inspection efforts on the pipeline paths, using modern technology, to monitor the condition of the pipelines, in order to stop the waste of national wealth, in support of the national economy.
