Petrobras, in continuation of the announcements to the market of 12/23/2023 and 08/30/2024, informs that it has signed the three remaining concession contracts of the 4th Bidding Cycle of the Permanent Offer, acquired in partnership with Shell and CNOOC, in the public session held by ANP in December 2023. The consortium will have Petrobras as operator, with a 50% stake, with Shell and CNOOC as partners with 30% and 20% stakes, respectively.
The signing of contracts for blocks PM-1737, PM-1739 and PM-1797 concludes Petrobras' participation in the 4th Bidding Cycle of the Permanent Offer auction, through which it acquired a total of 29 concession contracts in the Pelotas Basin.
The signing of these contracts is in line with the company's long-term strategy aimed at portfolio diversification; and strengthens Petrobras' profile as the main operator of oil fields located in deep and ultra-deep waters, boosting the replenishment of reserves for the future.
