Valmet’s Performance Solution to Optimize District Heat Production of Oulun Energia

Valmet is to deliver a Valmet DNA District Heating Manager solution for Oulun Energia’s district heating network in Oulu, Finland. The solution optimizes and controls the temperatures of heat supply across all production plants within the district heating network. It offers significant performance benefits by enhancing heat delivery efficiency, reducing heat losses, and improving the quality of district heating for end customers.

The order is included in Valmet’s orders received of the third quarter 2024. The value of the order will not be disclosed. The solution will be commissioned in late October 2024 and taken over by the customer in spring 2025.
