The NOC Holds Series of Meetings to Boost Oil Production

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) has been conducting a series of meetings as part of its strategy to increase oil production in 2024. Led by Dr. Khalifa Abdulsadiq, Board Member for Exploration and Production and Chairman of the Production Increase Follow-Up Committee, these meetings brought together the heads of operating companies, including Mellitah Oil and Gas, Arabian Gulf Oil Company, Waha Oil Company, Akakus Oil Operations, Sirte Oil, Zallaf, Sarir, Nafusah, Harouge, Zueitina, and Mabrouk.

The discussions focused on critical activities related to drilling and well maintenance, as well as production increase projects. Attendees included department heads from production, drilling, reserve development, finance, and minor projects. The committee reviewed the progress of these companies and addressed challenges affecting the implementation of production goals.

These meetings underscore the NOC’s commitment to enhancing oil production capacity and overcoming obstacles to achieve its 2024 targets.
