The Gazprom Management Committee took note of the information about the operational readiness of the Gazprom Group's facilities for peak loads expected in late 2024 – early 2025, as well as about the measures necessary to ensure uninterrupted gas supplies to consumers in the winter period.

It was noted that, in 2024, the usual diagnostic and repair works at the facilities, as well as the filling of underground gas storage (UGS) facilities were carried out against the backdrop of the increased gas demand. For instance, in the summer period, Gazprom's gas supplies to the Russian population were regularly reaching record-high amounts. In June, July and August, the daily high for gas supplies from Russia's Unified Gas Supply System for these months was topped 15 times. Inter alia, on August 23, an all-time high was reached for summer daily gas supplies, namely, 701.8 million cubic meters.

As part of the preparations for the autumn/winter operation, Gazprom has successfully completed all scheduled preventive maintenance and repair activities. As of October 1, scheduled preventive repairs at 100 gas production facilities across Russia have been performed in full. The Company repaired 290 kilometers of the linear part of gas pipelines, 196 gas compressor units and 64 gas distribution stations. More than 28,000 kilometers of gas pipelines underwent in-line inspections.

Gazprom pays special attention to the creation of the required gas reserves in the UGS facilities, which play an important role in satisfying the consumers' peak demand.

Currently, the Company is completing the creation of the working gas inventories in Russian UGS facilities. By the beginning of the 2024–2025 withdrawal period, said gas inventories will amount to 73.034 billion cubic meters, reaching a new all-time high for Russia's gas industry. The potential maximum daily deliverability of Russian underground storages will be maintained at the record level of 858.8 million cubic meters, which was achieved in 2023.

Taking into account the UGS facilities of Gazprom in Belarus and Armenia, the working gas inventories will amount to 74.281 billion cubic meters, and the daily deliverability will be at 898.8 million cubic meters.

The relevant units, subsidiaries and entities of the Gazprom Group were tasked to timely complete the preparation of the facilities for their 2024–2025 autumn/winter operation and to ensure a reliable and uninterrupted functioning of the production capacities.

The Management Committee also approved the 2025–2029 Comprehensive Program for the reconstruction and re-equipment of Gazprom's gas transmission facilities.
