Baseload Capital and ThinkGeoEnergy is excited to announce the release of the third episode of GeoTV, which takes a deep dive into the public perception of geothermal energy and the industry's efforts to change it.
Despite geothermal’s crucial role in the renewable energy mix, it remains significantly under the radar. This episode not only investigates why geothermal is often overlooked but also introduces the Declaration of Communication (DOC), a collective initiative aimed at unifying the industry’s messaging to raise public awareness and engagement.
"Public perception is key to the future of geothermal, and that’s why the Declaration of Communication is so important.” said Gabriella Skog, Creative Director at Baseload Capital. “As an industry, we need a unified message to make geothermal as recognizable as solar and wind. GeoTV is dedicated to amplifying that message, showing the world how geothermal can transform our energy future."
As part of the recurring ThinkGeoEnergy segment, the episode also highlights the latest advancements in geothermal technologies and showcases innovative projects pushing the boundaries of what's possible within the industry.
“Geothermal energy holds incredible potential, but to unlock it, we need to push the boundaries of technology and public awareness.” said Carlo Cariaga, Editor-in-Chief of ThinkGeoEnergy. "Projects like super-hot geothermal systems and innovative business models are positive steps towards making geothermal competitive on a global scale."
