Centrica plc announces that it purchased on 31 October 2024 (through Goldman Sachs International) 916,840 Centrica plc ordinary shares of 6 14/81 pence each at a price of 117.4700 pence per share. The purchased shares will be held as treasury shares. Such purchase was effected pursuant to the Company's buyback programme announced on 8 August 2024 and in accordance with the non-discretionary share repurchase agreement entered into with Goldman Sachs International.
Since 8 August 2024, Centrica has purchased 92,486,095 ordinary shares at a cost (excluding dealing and associated costs) of £111,750,268.74.
Following the above purchase, Centrica plc holds 436,682,590 ordinary shares in treasury, and has 5,131,424,624 ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares).
