Aker BP – management and follow-up of helidecks

The Norwegian Ocean Industry Authority (Havtil) has carried out an audit of Aker BP’s management and follow-up of helidecks offshore.

The audit was conducted on 10 and 11 September 2024, with assistance from the Civil Aviation Authority Norway.

Objective
The objective of the audit was to monitor that the management that is intended to ensure that helidecks are designed, equipped and maintained for the safe transport of persons and supplies by helicopter to, from and between facilities, complies with the authorities’ and the company’s requirements. This also included the company’s own follow-up and any ongoing changes of significance to such management.

Result
No non-conformities or improvement points were identified during this audit.
