RPC remains steadfast in its commitment to meaningful stakeholder engagement as construction progresses on our four land-based wind parks within the High Coast wind farm cluster, spanning Sollefteå and Kramfors municipalities in Västernorrland, Sweden. This fall, RPC has reinforced its ongoing practice of engaging with local stakeholders, including landowners and Sámi villages, ensuring open communication and collaborative development processes.

As part of these efforts, RPC has hosted meetings with affected landowners during the fall, focusing on providing updates about the construction process and addressing potential concerns. In parallel, RPC continues to work closely with impacted Sámi villages, recognizing the importance of preserving traditional livelihoods and cultural heritage. By listening to their perspectives and incorporating their feedback, RPC strives to minimize potential impacts on reindeer husbandry and other vital activities.

Per Meijer, RPC’s Head of Development Nordics, underscores the importance of this engagement:
“At RPC, we believe that building renewable energy solutions requires a foundation of trust and collaboration with the communities we serve. By prioritizing stakeholder engagement, we ensure our projects are not only sustainable but also locally supported.”

RPC is proud to uphold its longstanding commitment to respectful dialogue, ensuring its projects contribute positively to both the global energy transition and the local communities they are a part of.
