Just eight (!) months after the landmark agreement between METLEN Energy & Metals and PPC (April 2024) for the development and construction of a portfolio of solar PV projects, the company has delivered the first 32 MW in Italy. It is worth noting that the Cooperation Framework Agreement (CFA) pertains to 2,000 MW of projects across four countries in Southeast Europe: Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, and Croatia.

These projects incorporate advanced technologies, such as bifacial photovoltaic panels. The estimated annual energy output of the two stations is expected to exceed 60 GWh, sufficient to meet the energy needs of nearly 15,000 households. The operation of these two photovoltaic parks will prevent approximately 37,200 tons of CO2 emissions.

This achievement aligns with METLEN's broader plan to support energy transition and sustainable development in the region. Moreover, the PPC Group is strengthening its "green" portfolio and solidifying its position in the Southeast European market.

METLEN Energy & Metals, leveraging its extensive expertise, is distinguished for developing and constructing large-scale projects that combine technological innovation with sustainable practices. Focused on innovation and environmental responsibility, the company continues to deliver cutting-edge solutions, contributing to a greener and more sustainable future for all.
