Bohai Increases Daily Natural Gas Supply for Tianjin

As a result of the cold snap, natural gas consumption in Tianjin has increased rapidly, and natural gas was in short supply. By January 6, west Bohai oilfields has increased its daily supply for Tianjin to 480,000m/sq, and the cumulative gas supply has exceeded 10 million m/sq.

West Bohai oilfields have supplied natural gas to Tianjin ever since it was put into operation in 1997, with a maximum daily supply of over 400,000m/sq. It is reported that the daily natural gas consumption in Tianjin exceeded 3.5 million m/sq by the end of 2008.
