Enviromena, a leading provider of clean energy solutions, is proud to announce the successful energisation of the Kiln Fields Solar Farm, an 18MWp renewable energy project in Heckfield, Hampshire.

The project is the second in Enviromena’s pipeline to be energised as part of the grid’s Technical Limits acceleration programme following the award-winning energisation of Horsey Levels in Bridgwater last March.

The solar farm is set to generate over 18,000 MWh of clean electricity annually, significantly reducing carbon emissions and contributing to the UK’s renewable energy goals.

The site, partially located on a former landfill area, underwent rigorous geotechnical assessments and detailed flood risk analysis to ensure its safe and sustainable deployment.

Kiln Fields Solar Farm reflects Enviromena’s steadfast commitment to creating a greener future. The project has been designed to enhance local biodiversity, incorporating measures such as native grassland planting and habitat improvements to support wildlife.

“We are thrilled to announce the energisation of Kiln Fields Solar Farm, a project that emphasises Enviromena’s commitment to delivering impactful renewable energy solutions,” said Chief Operating Officer, Gary Hales.

“After the successful completion of the Horsey Levels project last year, it is great to energise our second project which benefits from the Technical Limits initiative which are team worked closely with the grid to help roll out in the industry.

“Kiln Fields is a testament to our vision of creating cleaner energy systems while enhancing biodiversity and leaving a lasting positive impact on the local environment.”

Enviromena will manage Kiln Fields under a long-term Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract, ensuring optimal performance through advanced monitoring and preventive maintenance.

This guarantees the site’s contribution to the UK’s renewable energy grid remains reliable and efficient for years to come.
