Starting the year strong: Logicor completed its 40,000 m² logistics facility at Flevopoort business park in Lelystad. This state-of-the-art development consists of three modern logistics units, designed with flexibility, energy efficiency, and sustainability at its core.

Strategic location & connectivity

Ideally situated near the A6 and Lelystad Airport, this development offers fast connections to Amsterdam, Almere, and other key logistics hubs across the Netherlands. Public transport links are also excellent, with a bus station less than 1 km away and a train station just over 3 km away.

Given the increasing demand for modern, energy-efficient logistics space, Lelystad has become an emerging hotspot for supply chain operations. The region provides ample space for expansion, making it an attractive alternative to more saturated logistics markets.

Sustainability at the forefront

Sustainability is a key driver of this development. Built to BREEAM Very Good and A+++ EPC standards, the facility features an innovative semi off-grid energy solution. A solar-powered energy storage system, managed by an advanced smart energy management system, ensures a reliable and future-proof energy supply. This approach helps mitigate grid congestion challenges, a growing concern in the Netherlands.

- Additional sustainability features include:
Smart, dimmable LED lighting with motion detection EV charging stations for logistics fleets and passenger vehicles
- Smart building climate control systems for enhanced energy efficiency Extensive landscaping and green outdoor areas

Designed for flexibility & efficiency

The logistics center is designed to meet the evolving needs of modern users, offering:

- 12.2m clear height & 50 kN/m2 floor load capacity
- 35 loading docks & 3 overhead doors
- A certified ESFR sprinkler system
- Premium office spaces with floor-to-ceiling windows
- Ample parking and dedicated access for passenger vehicles
The facility comprises three separate logistics units, each with warehouse and office space, plus a mezzanine. Two of these units span approximately 13,000 m2, while the third covers approximately 14,000 m2, ensuring adaptability for businesses of various sizes and industries.

"The completion of this development marks another milestone in our strategy to deliver high-quality, sustainable logistics solutions in prime locations. Lelystad is a promising logistics hub, and this facility offers the space, flexibility, and energy efficiency needed for businesses to grow sustainably in the coming years."
