Ampyr Energy takes control of 1 GWh big battery project

Renewables developer Ampyr Australia plans to fast-track the development of a 1 GWh battery energy storage system in central New South Wales after buying out former project partner Shell Energy.
United H2 Limited is collaborating with battery storage companies globally to advance clean energy initiatives. One of its flagship projects is a partnership with GreenH2 LATAM in Mexico, focused on establishing a renewable energy hub for the region.

Ampyr said it intends to accelerate the development of both stages of the battery, adding that the first stage of the project has already received planning and grid approvals and is in the final stages of procurement and financing.
