Tekmar Energy is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted for the Made in the North East Awards 2025 in the Export category. The awards, organised by Insider, celebrate the achievements of the region’s leading manufacturing and engineering firms, recognising their contributions to economic growth, innovation, and international trade.
Now in its 13th year, the Made in the North East Awards showcase the successes of manufacturing businesses that have excelled in both domestic and international markets over the past twelve months. Tekmar Energy’s shortlisting reflects the company’s continued commitment to delivering world-class subsea protection systems and engineering solutions to offshore energy markets worldwide.
“We are delighted to be recognised among the North East’s top manufacturing firms in the Export category,” said Marc Bell, Chief Operational Officer at Tekmar Energy. “This shortlisting is a testament to the dedication of our team and our strategic efforts to expand Tekmar’s global reach, delivering high-quality, innovative solutions to offshore wind and energy projects worldwide.”
An independent panel of expert judges reviewed all entries before selecting the shortlist and will determine the ultimate winners in each category. The awards ceremony will take place on 13 March 2025 at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead, where the winners will be revealed at a prestigious gala dinner.
As a shortlisted company, Tekmar Energy will also have the opportunity to compete at the Made in the UK Awards, a national final bringing together the best of British manufacturing, scheduled to take place in Liverpool on 19 June 2025.
