Veris Wealth Partners, a sustainable financial advisor to foundations, endowments and families, announced today the designation of Jane Swan, CFA, as Chief Advisory Officer and Roraj Pradhananga as Chief Investment Officer. Both are Veris partners.

“As we have grown to serve more institutions, Jane Swan has championed the construction of a comprehensive service platform designed to meet the specific needs of foundations,” said Stephanie Cohn Rupp, CEO. “Jane’s dedication to an outstanding client experience—proven over 29 years as a sustainability-focused advisor—epitomizes the service offering we have put in place for clients across the board. Jane, as Chief Advisory Officer, and Roraj, as CIO, lead our groups most directly responsible for clients’ advisory experience and financial and impact performance of their portfolios. It’s an honor to work with both leaders.”

Swan’s promotion comes one year after her designation as Head of Advisory Services. In that role, Swan has led the advisory team across Veris’ offices nationwide. Now as CAO, Swan is responsible for the entire service platform, the firm’s advisory committee, and advisor training. In her executive role, she works alongside Cohn Rupp, Pradhananga, COO Sheryl Kucer, CCO Richard Chen and other partners in the firm. Swan has worked in the sustainable investment field since 1996 and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.

“Veris has grown in response to deep interest among investors in aligning some or all their investment dollars with their impact goals,” said Swan. “We’re seeing that interest intensifying among family foundations, especially, as they establish mission alignment between their overall objectives and their investments.”

For the past year, Pradhananga has served as co-CIO with Veris co-founder Michael Lent, who has now stepped back from CIO responsibilities while continuing to serve clients.

“I’m grateful for Michael’s steadfast example of insight and service, both as co-CIO and in our prior years working together,” said Pradhananga. “As CIO, I am 100% committed to applying and advancing Veris’ investment expertise in an environment where the impact-investing industry faces headwinds. Our investment framework for Just Transition and Equity, Diversity & Inclusion investment due diligence continue to guide aspects of our work.”

As CIO, Pradhananga manages the firm’s Investments Team and collaborates with Advisory Services. He leads a rigorous investment process that includes sourcing, due diligence and investments across asset classes, thematic research, capital market analysis, and impact measurement and management. Pradhananga is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA®) and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
