PwrQ, a leader in end-to-end power systems solutions for data centers and other critical infrastructure facilities, today announced the expansion of its headquarters and manufacturing operations in Hanover, Maryland.
PwrQ brings together decades of industry veteran expertise to address urgent power challenges across the entire power systems chain – from design and engineering to manufacturing, deployment, and service. By expanding to 220,000 square feet of manufacturing space, PwrQ is scaling production of its core power distribution products most commonly used in critical electrical topologies. The company is leveraging advanced rapid-assembly lines and custom fabrication capabilities to build products addressing the growing power demands of data centers, renewable energy sites, and other high-stakes critical infrastructure. The expansion will also create 160 new positions in the Maryland area over the next five years.

PwrQ acts as a single, dependable partner, integrating engineering, manufacturing, and service capabilities under one team. The company's growing product portfolio spans low voltage switchboards, power distribution units, remote power panels, panelboards, automatic transfer switches and busway tap boxes, all of which are designed and manufactured in-house, with speed and precision. By managing every stage of the process—from engineering and assembly to installation and ongoing maintenance—PwrQ significantly reduces lead times, enabling data centers and other critical infrastructure projects to come online 67% faster.
Its PwrQ Systems team provides field service support and solutions, from modernization projects and complex automation upgrades, to rapid response on site service support. This end-to-end approach helps hyperscalers avoid unplanned facility downtime, which can average $260,000 per hour.
