As part of the Ministry of Oil's commitment to maximizing investment in national wealth and promoting sustainable development to support the national economy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil for Extraction Affairs, Mr. Basem Mohammed Khader, chaired an expanded meeting today, Thursday, to discuss ways to develop the third exploration block.
The meeting was attended by the Director General of the Oil Exploration Company, the Director General of the Central Oil Company, the Director General of the Petroleum Contracts and Licensing Department, and the Director General of the Reservoirs and Fields Development Department.
During the meeting, the exploration contract for the exploration block was discussed, with a discussion of setting a timetable for implementing the necessary steps to mature the contract in cooperation with Pertamina Company.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry stressed the importance of exploring unexplored blocks to enhance the country's hydrocarbon resources, stressing the need for cooperation and coordination between the relevant authorities to ensure the achievement of the set goals within specific time frames and with the highest standards of efficiency.
