Allseas has temporarily suspended offshore works with its pipelay vessel Lorelay on the Porthos CO2 transport pipeline project in the Dutch North Sea after the vessel encountered equipment issues on Tuesday, 6 May.

Following the issues, the pipeline was temporarily abandoned and the ship has relocated to Rotterdam for investigation into the cause of the incident. All personnel on board are safe and unharmed. There is no environmental impact.

The impact on the project schedule is currently being assessed.

Allseas is the main offshore contractor for the Porthos project.
