Michael Baker International, a global leader in engineering, consulting and advisory services, today announced that the firm's portfolio company, Infinity MEP+ Consultants, a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) and Structural Engineering firm based in Houston, Texas, will be known as Infinity, a Michael Baker Company, effective June 9, 2025.
As part of the company's long-term strategy to deepen technical expertise across key regions, Michael Baker acquired Infinity in May 2024. Since then, the two firms have worked closely to enhance operational and strategic alignment to provide an integrated service offering. Infinity, a Michael Baker Company will continue to align with Michael Baker's Integrated Design and Advisory (IDA) business vertical, which includes the firm's MEP, Structural Engineering and Fire Protection Engineering, Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, Commissioning, Cost Management, Architecture and Planning services.

In addition, they will have expanded opportunities to work on Michael Baker projects nationally.
Aligning under the Michael Baker brand strengthens the market position for both companies, expanding their collective client base and enhancing the firms' abilities to deliver complex, smart and resilient buildings. This integrated branding approach will enable the firms to design and execute larger, more sophisticated MEP projects.
Over the next five years, this collaboration will allow Michael Baker to broaden its practice areas and service offerings across private, federal and public sector clients. The firm plans to grow its presence in market sectors such as Federal, Aviation, Transit, Industrial, Defense Contractors, Aerospace, Data Centers, Semiconductors, Life Sciences, Energy, Higher Education and Healthcare.
