ANPG and partners sign oil production sharing agreement for Block 17

Speaking at the ceremony, the Secretary of State for Mineral Resources, Jânio Victor, considered the agreement a decisive step to maximize existing resources, ensure production continuity and guarantee that the sector continues to play a key role in boosting the national economy.

“The Oil and Gas sector faces challenges arising from field maturity and growing global competitiveness,” he added, highlighting that despite this, Angola has demonstrated resilience and adaptability.
