MT Group continues to advance the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) scope for the carbon capture facility in Kalundborg, Denmark, marking substantial progress across all key areas.

Over the past quarter, the project has gained full momentum:

Major equipment installation is complete – including critical assets such as pumps, heat exchangers, and the 27-ton reboiler unit. These works were executed within tight spatial constraints, highlighting the team's technical proficiency.
Piping systems are progressing rapidly, with key sections inside buildings and portions of the pipe racks now installed. One major pipe bridge section is fully complete, and the first successful pressure test has launched the piping testing and insulation phase.
Hydraulic testing and insulation activities are underway – following the successful commissioning of initial piping segments. Welding output has crossed the halfway point, setting the stage for increased momentum in the next phase of the project.
This milestone project, designed to capture 430,000 tons of CO2 annually, is a cornerstone of Europe's decarbonization strategy – and MT Group remains at the forefront, delivering with precision and integrity.

MT Group's full EPC responsibility includes engineering, procurement, and installation of BoP piping and equipment, enabling the seamless connection between the existing boiler plant and the new CO2 capture systems.
