Palmali to Take Over New LPG Vessel

Palmali International Holding Company has taken over a new vessel - the first LPG Carrier of the Company, named ‘Azeri Gas’ in the honour of Azerbaijan. The vessel with dead weight 7155 tons is designed for transportation of Liquid Petroleum Gas. The vessel was built in 2002 at the Watanabe Shipyard, Japan.

The vessel has the symbol of KM GAS CARRIER TYPE 2PG (LPG), Russian Register Length overall – 119 m Breadth – 18.80 m Draft - 6.76 m Crew- 19 persons Speed 15 knots Navigation area - unrestricted The LPG Carrier is planned to be employed for transportation of gas which is being produced from associated petroleum gas, derived from extraction of crude oil at oil fields located in Azerbaijan. During the present year, the company is planning acquisition of one more LPG vessel.
