Scorpion Receives Contract for Offshore Resolute

Scorpion International Ltd., a wholly-owned affiliate of Scorpion Offshore Ltd., signed a contract with a local operator for a drilling program offshore Vietnam utilizing the Offshore Resolute.
The firm portion of the program has an estimated duration of sixty-one days. Additionally, the operator has the right to an optional period of one additional well with an estimated duration of 80 days.
The contract begins on 1 April 2010 and has an estimated value of between US$ 7 and US$ 16 million depending on the option well.
Scorpion Offshore Ltd. is a Bermuda based corporation founded in 2005 to own and operate state-of-the-art offshore drilling rigs.
