Max Completed Drilling the KAW-1 Well on Block E

Max Petroleum Plc, an oil and gas exploration and development company focused on Kazakhstan, announced that it has completed drilling the KAW-1 exploration well on the Karsak West prospect on Block E. The well reached a total depth of 1,858 metres after encountering only minor hydrocarbon shows and will be plugged and abandoned. The Sun ZJ-30 drilling rig will now move to drill the UTS-1 exploration well on Uytas prospect on Block A.
