GE Oil & Gas and Allied Wireline Services, LLC (Allied) have signed a long-term partnership agreement dedicated to serving customers in the global wireline logging industry.
According to the agreement, signed through the Downhole Technology unit of GE Oil & Gas, drilling & production, Allied will purchase a broad range of logging tools and related equipment from GE, and the companies will cooperate in the continued development of GE’s Open-Hole Ultrawire Formation Evaluation tool suite. In addition, GE will provide Allied with comprehensive technical and services support from its established facilities in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
